Battery cell grading is one of the most critical steps in ensuring the performance, safety, and longevity of every custom e-bike we build.

By carefully selecting and matching premium lithium-ion cells based on capacity, voltage, internal resistance, and overall performance, AurevoLuxury ensures optimal power delivery, extended battery life, enhanced safety, and reliable long-term performance for every custom-built electric bicycle.

Initial Visual & Physical Inspection
Every lithium-ion battery cell used in an AurevoLuxury custom e-bike undergoes a thorough visual inspection before performance testing begins. Our technicians carefully examine each cell for dents, cracks, corrosion, swelling, punctures, damaged insulation, or any manufacturing irregularities that could compromise battery safety, efficiency, or long-term reliability.

Capacity Testing
To ensure consistent performance and long-term reliability, every lithium-ion battery cell undergoes standardized full charge and discharge cycle testing to accurately measure its true capacity. Only cells that perform within ±2% of their rated capacity are approved for use in AurevoLuxury custom e-bike battery packs.

Internal Resistance Measurement
Every lithium-ion battery cell also undergoes advanced internal impedance testing to measure its electrical resistance with exceptional precision. At Aurevo Luxury, we only approve premium-grade cells that exhibit consistently low and closely matched internal resistance, ensuring balanced current flow across the entire battery pack.

Self-Discharge Testing
To verify long-term reliability, every lithium-ion battery cell is monitored over a 24- to 48-hour observation period to measure its self-discharge rate. Cells that lose voltage or capacity faster than our strict quality standards allow are immediately rejected.
